OPA: It is a word or pronouncement of celebration; the celebration of life itself.
It is another way of expressing joy and gratitude to God, Life, and others, for bringing us into the state of ultimate wisdom; that all that really matters is health, family, and friends. It is a humorous affirmation that you’re the best; that you’re where you’re supposed to be; and that you need to stop and celebrate. …
It is the Greeks’ way of stating they have come to a level of serene exuberance able to enjoy life as children. … In a state where having been fed, and having quenched our thirst, and having enjoyed the pleasure of uniting with others, we have filled with hope and confidence that life abounds with all that we need.

Today was so awesome. Do you ever have those kinds of days, where is was just plain out good? Everything worked out and nothing was bad? You laughed and smiled and ate good food and had good company? Well today I did. It actually started on Sunday. Church was so great, every lesson I felt the spirit and learned so much. Afterward, I went to a girls night and watched the Justin Bieber movie, and fell in love with him all over. Then we ate cupcakes and laughed and talked about everything. It was just so fun and I loved who I was with. Then that turned into a sleepover and then carried into yummy breakfast burritos in the morning from Nicks. I have such great friends in my life, it's so amazing. Then I got to go to the greek festival and fell in love with greek culture. It seriously was so fun! We even got to learn this greek dance, I felt so cultured and had the greatest urge to go to greece. I love the word "opa" and the definition made me like it even more. Sometimes English doesn't have the right words to describe how you're feeling so you just have to borrow other languages! Then since it was SO hot we all went to the pool to swim, then the pool was very cold, but it felt good enough to cool us down. We relaxed in the jacuzzi before FHE. FHE I dont' get to really go to because of work, but labor day saved me and I was able to attend. That was so much fun too, talking and MORE eating. It was great to talk to people I normally don't talk to as much and just enjoy life. I have a good amount of French homework to do, but when I came home today from all theses events I didn't want to forget how I felt, today I was so genuinely happy. I am a pretty optimistic person for everyday, but today exceeded my expectations in many ways.
P.s. Don't you love it when you walk into a spider web and instantly become a ninja?
P.p.s My brother has his first girlfriend. Like real, I call you, we go places together and hold hands girlfriend. I don't know how I feel about this. I still of him as a little baby and now it's like ...what is going on with the world my baby brother is growing up!
